Crocus goulimyi Turrill, 1955 Oct-Nov [endemic to S Peloponnisos]
Prophyll present, bracteole absent. Tunics smooth, coriaceous, not fibrous, splitting at base into narrow triangular teeth. Lvs 6-12, synanthous. Fls fragrant, lilac to violet or white, often the three outer segments darker. Throat white. Filaments white, anthers yellow. Style white to orange, divided into 3 branches, each branch sometimes shortly lobed at apex.
Var. leucanthus Mathew, 1994 {C. g. ssp. l. (Mathew) Mathew, 2000}, has white fls.
Με πρόφυλλο, χωρίς μικρό βράκτιο. Χιτώνες λείοι, δερματώδεις, όχι νηματώδεις, σχισμένοι στην βάση σε στενά τριγωνικά δόντια. Φύλλα 6-12, συνάνθια. Άνθη εύωσμα, λιλά έως μοβ ή λευκά, συχνά τα τρία εξωτερικά τμήματα σκουρότερα. Λαιμός λευκός. Νήματα λευκά, ανθήρες κίτρινοι. Στύλος λευκός έως πορτοκαλί, χωρισμένος σε 3 κλάδους, συχνά λοβοτούς στην κορυφή.
Η ποικιλία leucanthus Mathew, 1994 {C. g. ssp. l. (Mathew) Mathew, 2000}, έχει λευκά άνθη.
